Employing a four-part framework, the sections delineated the ecological origin based on ecosystem service (ES) provision, characterized ES demand using multiple economic and social data sources to create a resistance surface, mapped ecological corridors in the study area utilizing Linkage Mapper, and pinpointed crucial ecological protection/restoration zones along the identified corridors. Analysis of the data revealed that the Xuzhou City supply source area for ESs encompasses 57,389 square kilometers, representing 519 percent of the city's total landmass.
